Paloma is a lawyer and holds an MBA degree from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. She began her career practicing corporate law, specializing in capital markets with a primary focus on IPOs, debt origination, and M&A deals. After some years, Paloma made the decision to transition to HR due to her belief in its untapped potential to impact both business and people. 

Before joining Purpose, Paloma worked in various organizations across the technology and financial industries, holding senior positions in both HR and business. Most recently, she assumed the role of Chief Human Resources Officer, leading the America's division for a global fintech company, following the completion of the Accelerated Executive Program from the Royal Bank of Canada. This career trajectory aligns with Paloma's belief that HR must understand and collaborate with the business to achieve success and create a significant impact for both people and the business.
