Cyndie Flett
I joined Purpose in 2022 excited and passionate about helping our leaders and teams truly thrive. My approach blends strategic insight with a down-to-earth style, something I've honed over more than 30 yrs of coaching and a decade in bespoke leadership consulting and development. I've had the privilege of working with incredible individuals and organizations from a wide range of industries, particularly in fast-paced, high-stakes environments where growth is key.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba, a Master's in Performance Psychology from the University of Ottawa, and a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Coaching from UBC. This foundation, combined with my experience, has shaped how I approach coaching.
Before my consulting work, I served as the Head Coach for Canada's Junior Women's National Water Polo Team, where we maintained a world top 5 ranking. I also spent 17 impactful years as the Vice President of Research and Development for the Coaching Association of Canada, where I led an elite team responsible for educating millions of coaches across 67 sports from grassroots to the Olympic level. Being a Chartered Professional Coach (ChPC) and an advanced certified TAIS coach and ICF certified coach allows me to bring comprehensive tools to my work. Ultimately, I strive to be a catalyst for sustained achievement, helping people and teams realize their full potential and perform at their best.
